For Immediate Release
Boulder, Colorado, May 12, 2005: Lookout Renovation
announced today the addition of Colorado Master Plumber Tom Leiding
to its core team, allowing the 21 year old company to expand the
scope of remodeling and repair services it offers.
“Having a master plumber on our staff is important to us,” said
Lookout Renovation vice president Brian Cookson. “The experience
that Tom brings to the position is essential in the work that we
do for both homes and businesses. We approach all of our jobs as
a team effort and Tom will play a critical role in ensuring that
we continue to offer the lowest overall rates to our customers.”
The State of Colorado allows for three different levels of licensed
plumbers, including residential, journeyman and master, but only
a master plumber can function as a plumbing contractor.
Cookson pointed out that it takes years of training to become
a Master Plumber, along with the successful completion of a rigorous
examination supervised by the Examining Board of Plumbers.
The state sponsored test includes questions
on a wide range of subjects, including calculations & blueprint
reading, combination waste and vent systems, gas piping, indirect
and special waste
piping, plumbing fixtures, sanitary drainage systems, storm drainage
systems, traps, interceptors, separators and water distribution
systems.
“It’s not just about connecting pipes,” Cookson
said. “It’s working with high-pressure boilers, gas
furnaces, sprinkler systems and safety venting. There’s no
room for error, so we went with the best. We are very happy to
have Tom on board.”
Lookout Renovation is a locally owned and
operated Colorado corporation, founded in 1984. Lookout offers
quality home renovation, remodeling
along with commercial property maintenance and repair from a single
source, available with just one phone call.
